  • account_circle 1 - How can I create an account?

    To create an account, go to the login page and select ''Register Now'' then fill in your username, phone, and choose a password, click on ''Register'' and follow the instructions to complete the registration process.

  • note_add 2 - How to create a new file?

    To create a new file, click on the red button on the bottom right of the screen, then ''New file'' , In the contextual menu select your programming language, enter the name of the file and click on ''New''.

  • folder_open 3 - How to see my files?

    To display your files click on the ''Files'' icon on top to the editor page. It should expand and display all your saved files along with files that you have created during current working session.

  • group_add 4 - Can I join any classroom?

    Yes, you can join any classroom provided you have the class code.

  • meeting_room 5 - How to join a classroom?

    Go to ''Classroom'' select ''Join'', enter the class code that you have been given and click on validate. The newly joined classroom will now appear in the list of classrooms you are registered to.

  • lock 6 - How do I stop accepting students into my classroom?

    To stop accepting students into a classroom, simply generate a new class code. This will invalidate the previous class code, and only those with the new class code can join the classroom.

  • code 7 - How do I compile my program?

    To compile a program, go to the file explorer and click on the file that you would like to compile; the file should now be loaded in the integrated code editor. Next, click on the icon next to the file's name in the code editor, and select ''compile and Execute''. Below the code editor panel, there are two panels, the ''Output'' and ''Input'' panels. A loading sign appears next to the ''Output'' panel when your program is compiling.

  • visibility 8 - How do I see the result of my program?

    Click on the ''Output'' panel if it is not already active to see the output of your program. If the compilation was successful, this should display the output of your program an error is displayed when things did not go as expected.

  • input 9 - How to provide inputs to my program?

    To provide inputs to your program, open the ''Inputs'' panel located below the code editor, then enter your inputs one per row, then execute your program, your inputs should be read by your program at runtime.

  • school 10 - Where can I find examples of how to provide inputs to my program?

    To learn how to provide inputs to your program in various programming languages, Click on the menu icon on the top left of the page (you should be logged into your account), select ''Tutorials'' then ''How to provide inputs to your program''.

  • attach_money 11 - Can I buy compile credit if I do not have a mtn mobile money account?

    We are working hard to introduce more payment options. In the meantime you can approach a friend who has a mtn mobile money account; then have them buy the compile credit and share with you.

    To share your compile credit with another user of the platform, click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the page, then select ''share compile credit''. Enter the username of the person you want to share with and the number of credits to share; click on ''share'' to confirm

  • work 12 - As a recruiter, can I use the platform to evaluate candidates?

    Yes. To do so, create a classroom and invite your applicants to join it. Once the classroom is created you can post your tests within the classroom as assignments. Do not forget to set the return deadline if you would like the assignment to be returned by a specific date.

  • account_balance 13 - As an institution such as a school, can I purchase compile credit for my teachers?

    Yes, simple purchase the credit from your account and share it amongst your teachers

  • class 14 - Can I create a classroom?

    Yes, all users registered as ''teacher'' can create classrooms.

  • help_outline 15 - How can I submit a support ticket?

    For users on mobile devices, login to your account, then use the top left menu icon to display the side navigation, next, select ''help & support'', and then click on the menu icon in the top left corner of the page and finally, select ''submit a ticket''. Fill in the form and submit.

  • class 16 - Create a classroom

    1. Use the menu button in the top left to open the side navigation bar.
    2. Tap/click Classroom, then Create at the top of the page.
    3. Enter the class name.
    4. (Optional) Add the school year.
    5. (Optional) Add the age of the youngest student.
    6. (Optional) Add the age of the eldest student.
    7. Add a short description of the class.
    8. Tap/click Save & Close.

  • assignment 17 - How to create an assignment?

    1. Click/Tap on the class and select the Classwork tab.
    2. At the top, click Create and select Assignment.
    3. Enter the title and instructions.
    4. Select the class(es) for the assignment.
    5. (Optional) Specify the number of points.
    6. (Optional) Set a return date.
    7. (Optional) Group assignments into topics.
    8. Click/Tap Assign to create the assignment, or save it as a draft.
